Variantify is a Shopify app that lets you display product variants (such as sizes or colors) as individual products in collections. This improves visibility and makes it easier for customers to browse product options.

Yes. You have full control: variant display can be activated only on selected collections.Other collections will remain untouched unless you explicitly activate Variantify for them.

If your variants are not showing up, please check the following steps:

Step 1 – App Activation

Make sure Variantify is activated in your Theme Settings:

• Go to Online Store → Customize on your published theme.
• Click Theme settings → App embeds.
• Find Variantify and toggle it ON.

Step 2 – Collection Activation

Ensure that Variant Display is set to ON for the selected collection inside the app, then click Save changes.

Step 3 – Split Option Configuration

Check that the chosen split option (e.g., color, size) is correctly set.

All products in the collection must share the same option name (e.g., “Color” or “Size”).

To display only selected variants:

‍

1. Click Create collection from the main app page.
2. Choose Manual as the collection type.
3. When adding products, select Method 2 – Display specific variants by SKU or barcode.
4. Enter the SKUs or barcodes of the variants you want to display.

Ensure that all products in the collection were created with the same variant option name (e.g., Color, Size).

If some products use “Colour” and others “Color”, for example, the app will not be able to split them consistently.

You can customize how your variant titles appear by choosing one of the available formats:

• Format 1: Product title – Variant title
• Format 2: Product title
• Format 3: Product title – Option 1
• Format 4: Product title – Option 2

For this example:

Product title: T-shirt Marcel

Variant title: Blue / S

Option 1 (Color): Blue

Option 2 (Size): S

The results would be :

Format 1 : T-shirt Marcel – Blue / S

Format 2 : T-shirt Marcel

Format 3 : T-shirt Marcel – Blue

Format 4 : T-shirt Marcel – S

Yes. Simply activate Variant Display: ON for the collections where you want variants to appear.

Other collections will remain unchanged.
